He called Mariah Carey a “fun, interesting, complex, beautiful” and also “lonely" star. He also said some of the top stars think it's okay to be a little late for an interview, but he has no problem callin them out when they are. This was the case with Katy Perry once when he sent his assistant downstairs [and said], ‘just tell her not to come up. Tell her when she’s on time, she can be on our show.’ The next day, she showed up early, and she gave us a great interview. She’s fantastic. Love her." Worst interview? "Usher,” said Elvis. “One of the most talented people in music. I mean, beyond talented. He was just in a bad mood one day when we were interviewing him. ... I was watching the text messages from our listeners roll by as we were talking to him, and they were not being very kind. They’re just like, ‘Get this guy off the air. He’s very insulting.’ ... We politely thanked him, and we ended the interview.” As for his radio career, Elvis said he got his first DJ gig at age 15. "But no one listened to this radio station,” Duran said, laughing. “As a matter of fact, I actually went on the air one day and said, ‘If you’re the second caller, I’ll give you $50.’ No one called.” USHER PHOTO/Helga Esteb / Shutterstock - WATCH INTERVIEW HERE

The 12-day event benefits HELP of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit organization that assists less fortunate families during the holiday season. Starting Wednesday, they will be helping over 3,000 families, and also helping out 45 other nonprofit organizations in southern Nevada. ######### WiLD 94.1 3rd annual Toy Drive wrapped up on Saturday, December 13th at 6:00 p.m. as Program Director and Morning Show Host Orlando Davis came down from the “Toy Drive Tower.” Orlando spent the entire week living on the two-story high structure, which was built in a parking lot in Tampa. When all the numbers were added and bikes counted, Orlando’s Toy Drive raised $12,254 in gift card and cash donations, 305 bicycles and a PODS container full of toys. All donations collected will benefit The Children’s Home a non-profit organization, which serves as a sanctuary to abused, neglected or abandoned children in our community. “Toy Drive is special to me because living outdoors for five days isn’t comfortable, but neither is not having gift cards, bikes or toys for children who’ve already had a rough start. The Toy Drive helps The Children’s Home accomplish their goals while also helping so many other charities.” Orlando added, “It was important to me to find a way that I could help besides simply cutting a check. I still have, every year, but this visual coupled with everyone doing a little, ends up helping a lot. That’s a win for us all!”
