[WATCH] Houston Host Catches Thieves On Surveillance Cameras While At Work

THE MOUTH, MAY 10TH, 2017 –– Cumulus' KRBE Houston afternoon host Kevin Quinn (inset) was able to get a clear look at the face of a thief as he watched a burglary unfolding right before his eyes on hidden cameras. After installing cameras to deter thieves, Quinn tells KHOU-TV “You know, people are going to look at that and they won’t mess with us or our property,” said Quinn. It just so happened that on Wednesday those cameras paid off. Quinn was at work thinking about his brand-new patio being built at home when he decided to peek in on his cameras to look at the progress. Instead he witnessed his contractor’s tools being stolen in real time.

“I saw a guy in a vest (top right) kind of skulking around my yard looking around. At first I didn’t think anything of it because I just thought it was a dude looking to read the meter.” “Next thing I know he’s starting to mess around with one of the empty trucks and he starts unloading stuff from their tool box and putting in his trunk! Then I knew he wasn’t a meter reader.” The thief stole about $1,000 worth of tools from Brandon Dyche owner of Creative Scape Designs. “I wished I could do something,” said Quinn. “I was watching it happen in real time so it was so upsetting.” The thief was driving a 2014 Mustang convertible and Quinn was able to get a clear picture of his face. “I just wanted to get a good shot of his face so I had a really good chance of catching this guy -- I guess there’s no accounting for stupid.” WATCH HERE

BUSINESS: Liberty Media Still Interested In iHeart 'For The Right Price'

THE MOUTH, MAY 10TH, 2018 –– Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei told investors during yesterday's first quarter earnings call that iHeartMedia's assets are complementary to Liberty’s music holdings reports Deadline. Liberty, which has a controlling interest in SiriusXM, also holds a 19% stake in the streaming music company Pandora.

“iHeart is an attractive free-cash flow generator,” Maffei said. “At the right price, I think it would be additive to our music holdings.” Liberty made a $1.2 billion proposal to acquire a 40% stake in a restructured iHeartMedia. Manchester Bombing One Year Later - Key 103 will commemorate one year since the tragic arena attack that took the lives of twenty-three people with a special programme on May 22nd. The station will present ‘Manchester, 1 Year On’ – a special programme revisiting content captured from the time of the bombing and looking at how the event has changed the city. The programme will air at 2pm, followed by a one minute silence at 2:30pm. BBC Radio Manchester will also be broadcasting from the centre of Manchester all day on Tuesday 22nd May to mark the first year anniversary of the attack.

In Ireland, Cork’s Red FM rebranded to Ed FM for Sheeran - When Ed Sheeran appeared live in Cork for the first of his gigs, Red FM changed its appearance to Ed FM for the weekend. The station changed logos on social media and is used the hashtag #EdFM and even changed its RDS from Red FM to Ed-FM. The station’s jeeps now have an Ed Sheeran face pic over the ‘R’ of Red to complete the picture. Zann Takes Afternoons At Seattle's KISS FM; 'Mayhem' Comes To Middays And APD/MD Duties

THE MOUTH, MAY 9TH, 2018 –– 106.1 KISS FM, Seattle announced that Zann will join the station as its afternoon drive on-air host, effective immediately. She'll air from 3pm-7pm. Howard Stern 'Furious' At HBO Over RRHOF Bon Jovi Induction Speech Edit

THE MOUTH, MAY 9TH, 2018 –– Howard Stern was thrilled when Bon Jovi asked him to provide his introduction speech during last month's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland reports nj.com, but was 'furious' of how HBO edited his speech. The shock jock vented for 20 minutes at the beginning his radio show on Monday about how HBO edited his speech. "I really crafted my words, I wanted to make people laugh. I wanted to have a good time," Stern said in the rant. "I really crafted the thing...so some editor could determine if I was funny in places? They were probably like, 'Hey, that's a funny joke, but we gotta cut somewhere.' No you don't have to cut somewhere!"

Stern said that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame wanted him there so badly they flew him to Cleveland on a private jet for the event. One of Stern's producers suggested that about three minutes of his speech was cut. "Oh yeah, trust me there was another 15 minutes ... I understand they have to edit it down," Stern said, before joking that an intern was probably behind the edits. "You can't fly me to f***ing Cleveland and ask me to make a speech and then edit the s*** out of me," Stern said. "I wasn't there talking about my career. I spent a lot of time on that and they spent three minutes deciding what should be in and out...They completely...gutted me. Like a rotting fish, which I am. That's how I feel inside."
