Gwyneth Paltrow Radio Interview Gets A Bit Hairy [AUDIO]

THE MOUTH, MAY 15TH, 2013 –– By now you're aware that Gwyneth Paltrow has been making the rounds and venting her distaste for last week's Met fashion event. Of course, while she continues with her rant, most want to know more about her much publicized, well vented dress during the "Iron Man 3" premiere. Aussie mega hosts, Kyle and Jackie O of 2Day FM, caught up the actress after perhaps a drink or two and asked about the event and gown."Do you want me to be honest? It sucked," said Paltrow. As for the dress, she said "I Mfeel like we're all a bit old to be trying to dress punk ... I had this dress on that was see-through on the sides, and basically I couldn't wear underwear with this dress. They were like, you need to shave it. … I said, 'No, I got a big '70s bush!' Which, I was kidding. But then it was all a disaster. And now I look like an 8-year-old girl, basically." Perhaps more information than the duo wanted, but LISTEN TO INTERVIEW and judge for yourself.

Google To Throw Hat In Music Arena

THE MOUTH, MAY 15TH, 2013 –– Looks like Google will unveil its new subscription music service today at its Google I/O conference, according to The Verge. Sources say Google has signed separate licensing deals with Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment for both YouTube and Google Play. Earlier this year, Fortune reported that Google had already struck similar deals with Warner Music Group. But landing Universal Music and Sony gives Google access to the two largest record companies. This move means they'll get the jump on Apple, which is also trying to launch a new streaming-music service. According to reports, Google's subscription services would resemble Spotify, and offer on-demand songs that would be streamed to their PCs and mobile devices. Apple, on the other hand, is working on an online radio service that is said to be more akin to Pandora, a service that plays songs at random similar to traditional radio.

WIP's Cataldi Wants Fans To Boo Donovan McNabb At Retirement Ceremony

THE MOUTH, MAY 15TH, 2013 –– Back in 1999, WIL Philly's morning host, Angelo Cataldi (shown), organized a draft day booing of Donovan McNabb. Now with the former Eagles quarterback returning for his retirement ceremony in September, Cataldi is back at it again. “We should make sure we’ll boo McNabb one last time!” popular host Angelo Cataldi said on his 94 WIP morning show. “We’ll never have a chance again!” He claimed later to a philly.com reporter that he was only kidding. According to USA Today, Philadelphians are against the drive with seventy-four percent of respondents in an online poll saying the “Dirty 30″ shouldn’t boo McNabb. On ESPN Radio, McNabb said: “ “I have nothing but love for the Philly fans, even the ones who were highly criticizing me or opinionated in any way. I can’t get upset at them because my job is to get out on the field and be productive. That’s what quarterbacking is all about.” Meanwhile, you can follow the WIP voting HERE

Kimmel Joins Stern: Admits He May Have Had Something To Do With NBC's Leno Move [VIDEO]

THE MOUTH, MAY 14TH, 2013 –– Jimmy Kimmel appeared on yesterday's Howard Stern Show and Stern was quick to suggest that Kimmel's recent move to an 11:30 P.M. time slot is part of the reason that NBC is kicking "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno to the curb in 2014. "I think that it is mind blowing that they're getting rid of Jay," said Stern. "I attribute this to you. I do. I attribute this to you going on at 11:30 and they're all freaked out because you're the young guy and you've got the young demos. Do you think that that's why they got rid of Jay?" Kimmel didn't disagree, but replied modestly by saying "I don't know for sure, but I suspect that it had something to do with it." Jimmy Fallon is set to move into Leno's slot sometime in 2014. Fallon will be replaced by "Saturday Night Live's" Seth Myers. WATCH BRIEF VIDEO HERE

BOB BARKER: Lucky Break Came Following Fellow Announcer's No Show - [AUDIO]

THE MOUTH, MAY 14TH, 2013 –– One of broadcasting's truly beloved personalities, Bob Barker, made a rare call into 970/New York's The Answer's Frank Morano show. Being thrown into an audience interaction-type show, Barker said he replied to a woman's comment and the audience laughed. Apparently, he liked that response and so did a local producer who told the future TV icon that this is what he should be doing. That was over 50 years ago, and the 89 year old is still running in high gear, especially with his passion for animals. He also took time with discussing some of the problems with the media today.
