Louisville Host Alex Clark Stars In New Mark Burnett Series

7THE MOUTH, MAY 5TH, 2016 –– Add Alex Clark, co-host for the Ben Davis and Kelly K show and middays on Louisville’s 997 DJX, to the list of radio peeps taking part in TV reality shows. She filmed it all early this year and is excited for it to finally hit primetime on Fox. Twelve women will begin their search for the one thing missing from their lives – love – on the series premiere of COUPLED, airing Tuesday, May 17 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Hosted by Terrence “J” Jenkins and produced by Emmy Award winner Mark Burnett (“Survivor,” “The Voice”), COUPLED gives the ladies first choice as they opt “yes” or “no” on each single man who arrives at their bungalows on the island of Anguilla. As couples match up based on their instant chemistry, they’ll jet off to another part of the island to put their relationships to the test. Then, the real soap opera will begin to unfold as these budding pairs discover whether or not they have true compatibility. COUPLED will also feature the one thing that all modern romances have in common – texting.

The women and men will be armed with cell phones throughout their time on the island, allowing the opportunity to communicate with the others – whether it involves asking a friend for advice or flirting with a potential new love connection. Viewers will get a front row seat to the real drama, as these text conversations pop up on screen.

[LISTEN] 'There's Been A Lot Of Interest From Outside Parties,' Says CBS' Moonves With Regard To Radio Separation

7

THE MOUTH, MAY 4TH, 2016 –– CBS Chairman/CEO Leslie Moonves was quite upbeat in yesterday'Ss Q1 call saying, "I'm extremely pleased to tell you that CBS has turned in a phenomenal first quarter. Revenue was up 10% to $3.85 billion, the highest we've ever had in the first quarter in our history." Moonves added ,"Obviously, the Super Bowl played a big part in this, but even when you ta7ke out the Super Bowl, and our three extra NFL games, underlying network advertising was up 12%, the strongest we've seen in a long, long time." As for radio, Moonves said, "We are working towards separating our radio business from the CBS Corporation ... there's also been a lot of interest from outside parties. So, we have a number of different options to consider." Later in the call in its Q&A with analysts, Bryan Kraft - Deutsche Bank Securities asked CBS' COO Joseph R. Ianniello about CBS pending radio 7separation. "You mentioned, do youexpect that to be structured as an IPO of the business with proceeds going to CBS and CBS retaining a stake? Or will it be a complete separation of the business?

"Yeah, we do anticipate a traditional two-step and IPO where it'd be sub 20%, again, similar to outdoor," said Ianniello. "If you just looked at that as a template where CBS would own again, 80%-plus initially. But then we would follow that up later with a full separation of the assets, probably again an exchange offer vis-à-vis a split-off. Again, very similar to what we just did with outdoor. That being said, there's a lot of other opportunities in front of us. So, we will explore all those opportunities and pursue the one that we believe will maximize value for shareholders." Ianniello added that the company would continues synergies with CBS Radio. “There’s obviously a lot of stations that have call letters with our call letters on them, and so we’ll preserve that. We’re trying to add to both the profitability of the TV and radio stations, not make one go up and the other go down.” LISTEN TO CALL HERE

THE MOUTH, MAY 4TH, 2016 –– Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. announced operating results for the three month period ended March 31, 2016 and posted a net 7revenue gain of 13.2% to $27.5 million. The $3.2 million, or 13.2%, year-over-year increase in net revenue during the three months ended March 31, 2016, primarily reflects higher revenue at the Company’s Tampa-St. Petersburg and Charlotte market clusters.

Commenting on the results, Caroline Beasley, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, said, “Our strong first quarter operating results highlight the solid revenue growth at the Company’s Tampa-St. Petersburg and Charlotte market clusters which combined with the success of our integration and profitability initiatives generated double digit growth in key financial metrics. While 2016 first quarter revenue included the cyclical return of political advertising, we generated organic revenue growth even without the political spending. In addition, we achieved our goal of our clusters, on a combined basis, outperforming the markets that report to Miller Kaplan for the full quarter and expect this trend to continue in 2016.
