Taylor Swift And Former Morning Host To Face Off In Denver Courtroom Judge Required That All Parties— Including Swift — Be Present During The Entirety Of Trial THE MOUTH, JUNE 1ST, 2017 –– Looks like former KYGO/Denver morning host David Mueller and Taylor Swift will meet again, but this time in a Denver courtroom. A jury trial has been set for August reports The Hollywood Reporter. Taylor has accused Mueller of groping her at a backstage meet-and-greet in 2013. Mueller denies the assault and battery claim and contends that Swift and her team got him fired for no good reason. Both versions will be heard by a jury at a nine-day trial beginning Aug. 7 after a Colorado federal judge on Wednesday partially rejected Swift's summary judgment bid to defeat Mueller's claims. Mueller won't move ahead on slander, but he's being given the opportunity to make a case for tortious interference. "Having reviewed these evidentiary materials, the Court finds that the central and genuine dispute remains," writes U.S. District Court judge William Martinez. "Certain witnesses’ testimony tends to corroborate Swift’s version of events, and Mueller points to other evidence that he argues shows inconsistencies in Swift’s story. Martinez writes that given the Swift team's familiarity with KYGO, a jury could conclude that she and other defendants — her mother, Andrea, and Swift's radio promotions director, Frank Bell — reasonably should have known that Mueller had some form of employment contract. The judge then examined communications between Swift's camp and KYGO and found a jury could come to the conclusion they acted with an intent to cause his termination. The judge also rejected the argument, at this stage, that Swift can't be held liable for Mueller's termination because she was not the cause of it. Swift argued that it was KYGO's independent investigation that triggered the firing, but Martinez says when viewing the evidence most favorably to Mueller, "the record does not reflect a truly independent investigation," and that under Colorado law, proximate cause needn't be a prerequisite to liability for intentional interference with contract. The judge did decide to throw out Mueller's separate claims for slander per se and slander per quod. The problem for was there was a one-year statute of limitations on slander claims. The judge is also requiring all parties — including Swift — be present during the entirety of the jury trial. TOP PHOTO/dreamstown - MUELLER & BOTTOM SWIFT PHOTO/Steve Hostetler
Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange Considering Offer To Guest Host On Sean Hannity Radio Show THE MOUTH, JUNE 1ST, 2017 –– Wilileaks Founder Julian Assange is now considering an offer to guest host Sean Hannity radio show from inside the Ecuadorian embassy according to The Guardian. Assange said he was “looking into” filling in for Sean Hannity after the presenter offered him a one-off chance to host his conservative talk show. But Assange said the plan was complicated by his being inside the central London embassy, which he has not left for nearly five years. “My physical circumstances means that nothing is easy,” he told CNN. The opportunity arose after he tweeted that several US networks had suggested he start weekly broadcasts from within the embassy. The Sean Hannity Show host replied: “If you would like to fill in for me one day, I am on over 550 stations and 14-plus million listeners.” The Australian remains in the embassy despite Swedish prosecutors dropping a seven-year investigation over an allegation of rape, which he denies, on May 19th. Scotland Yard has said that if he leaves the embassy it will execute an arrest warrant for his failure to surrender to court in 2012. ASSANGE PHOTO/© Jjspring | Dreamstime.com
