[LISTEN] Senator Tells Morning Show Her Ideal Man Must Be 'Well Off And Well Hung'

Ask 22-Yr. Old Listener If He Matches Up

THE MOUTH, JULY 22ND, 2014 –– Senator Jacqui Lambie (inset) has issued an apology for a radio interview in which she described her perfect man as being well-off and "well-hung". According to yahoonews.com, while appearing on Heart 107.3, she said she had not been in a relationship for 11 years because of physical and mental stress. "That's why I am not so worried about my waxing," she offered. In the interview, hosts Kim Napier and Dave Noonan (shown), offered to act as match-makers, asked Senator Lambie what attributes she was looking for in a partner. "They must have heaps of cash and they've got to have a package between their legs, let's be honest," replied Senator Lambie. "And I don't need them to speak." Later she issued a response, "I apologise to any radio listeners who may be offended by my comments on Kim and Dave's Show," she said in an issued statement. "Of course my political enemies will make a big deal out of my comments, but the reality is I was talking with Kim and Dave on Heart FM - not Sarah Ferguson on the ABC." LISTEN HERE

[LISTEN] Cameron Diaz Hangs Up On KIIS' Kyle & Jackie O

7

THE MOUTH, JULY 23RD, 2014 –– Making the radio rounds promoting her new movie with Jason Segel "S(e)x Tape,' she called into KIIS FM 106.5/Sydney's Kyle & Jackie O and things 7went well until Diaz compared child actor Giselle Eisenberg, who appears in Sex Tape, to her best friend Drew Barrymore. Sandilands then remarked: “Lets hope (Eisenberg) misses out on the Drew Barrymore drug years because that was a great thing to watch but not so good to be in." A clearly miffed Diaz fired back with “I’m sure you’ve never been through a drug phase Kyle have you or alcoholism?” Sandilands made matters worse by responding with reference to Diaz’s new boyfriend Benji Madden. “Hang on a second, now I’m friends with Benji so I don’t know if he’s been talking out of school or not but I’ve told him to keep his mouth shut,” Sandilands said. Seconds later Diaz tells the hosts ”we’re having to go now, sorry." Jackie O immediately pounced on Sandilands, saying, “Well that started very well and ended poorly I think, good one Kyle”. “You ruined that interview, sorry to be blunt,” Jackie O said. “You brought up Drew Barrymore, her best friend’s drug addiction in the past. And then you brought up Benji and we all know how protective Cameron is about her private life. “So the two things that probably would get her off-side, you went there.” Never one to back down, Sandilands said, “Maybe they should have just bought ads if they want to sell the movie, I want to find out other things”. Jacobs Media's 6th Annual Public Radio Tech Survey Released

THE MOUTH, JULY 23RD, 2014 –– Six years of annual technology surveys on behalf of public radio stations throughout the U.S. has created an exciting narrative about the impact of digital 7media on broadcast radio. In Jacobs Media's PRTS6, in partnership with the Public Radio Program Directors Association (PRPD), radio listeners paint an amazing picture about the strength of public radio, as well as the opportunities and challenges presented by the digital revolution. Arthur Cohen, president of PRPD, comments, "The survey results reinforce the strength of public radio's offerings - on our traditional platform (radio) as well as the many digital channels. Maintaining those core values in all we offer is an opportunity to remain of service to our communities, even as their media habits change." Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs (L) notes, "PRTS6 points to the opportunities and challenges faced by public radio stations and the networks that provide its programming content. Among the trends, PRTS6 shows the "why" of public radio: Credible programming, deeper news perspective, ongoing learning, and respect for the intelligence of the listener emerge as the four pillars of public radio's value proposition. Each is mentioned by more than seven of every ten respondents as main reasons for listening to public radio stations. The trust factor: Three-fourths (75%) of PRTS6 respondents agree that public radio news efforts are not influenced by advertisers or sponsors. The mobile revolution: Seven in ten (71%) PRTS6 respondents own a smartphone, while over half (56%) carry a tablet. And by far, Apple is the preferred platform of choice.

Mancow Suing Man For Defrauding Him Out Of $50,000 In Radio Group Deal

THE MOUTH, JULY 22ND, 2014 –– Longtime Chicago personality and syndicated radio host, Erich "Mancow" Muller, has filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court claiming a North Carolina man defrauded him out of $50,000 that was to be used to purchase radio stations. According to The Chicago Tribune, Those purchases apparently never took place. The suit alleges Rodney Rainey and his company, Maverick Radio Partners, improperly used the money for purposes other than the acquisitions and failed to return the $50,000 despite repeated requests from Muller. The suit claims Muller was approached by Rainey in December 2011 with a potential radio investment opportunity. Muller alleges Maverick said it had secured a commitment of $200 million from Spartacus Partners Corp. to build the group, which was targeting stations in Hartford, Conn., Orlando, Fla., Charlotte, N.C., Nashville, Tenn., and other markets. Muller entered into an oral agreement with Rainey to give him $50,000 in investment capital, with the understanding it would be held in escrow. The lawsuit alleges Rainey and Maverick Media used the $50,000 for their own use, and committed fraud and breach of contract. Muller is seeking $50,000 plus interest, attorneys' fees and punitive damages to be determined at trial. PHOTO/God, Guns And Automobiles

Dave's co-hosts, Steve-O and Falen Bonsett were suitably impressed with Dave's portrayal saying, "He really knocked it out of the park. He was born to play a creepy predator." Dave adds, "It wasn't really something I ever wanted to do, but it was an opportunity I'd never get again and it's been incredible.
