Z100 New York Moves MoBounce To Afternoons

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 21ST, 2015 –– iHeartMedia New York announced that MoBounce has been named the new Afternoon Host for Z100, New York - he'll host weekday afternoons from 2-6:00 p.m. ET.

MoBounce debuted on Z100 in September 2009 hosting the station's night show. MoBounce was born and raised in Brooklyn and has a deep and passionate connection with the tri-state area. In addition to his on-air duties at Z100, his show is also heard weekly in Washington, D.C., Portland and nationwide on XM Radio Channel 12 as well as iHeartRadio.

MOTION: Stephanie McMaster To Co-Host Mornings At KLAQ/El Paso; Pat Deluca Exits Mix 94.1 Canton

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 21ST, 2015 –– Townsquare Media has announced that Stephanie McMaster (L) will join The Buzz Adams Morning Show as co-host on KLAQ/El Paso, TX. Se follows Lisa Sanchez who moved to afternoons earlier this year. McMaster arrives from Townsquare's Corporate Digital office in New York City.

In other news, Pat DeLuca, morning host on Mix 94.1 Canton, OH is reportedly leaving after a two-year stint. According to cantonrep.com, he was offered a six-month continuance that he chose not to accept, DeLuca said Thursday. DeLuca, an Akron native, DeLuca was hired as a part-timer at Q92 in Alliance in 2002, when he was 20. A year later, he was given the 7 p.m. to midnight show on Q92, which he did until 2006, when he was promoted to hosting the station’s morning show. In 2012, DeLuca left Q92, then launched an online radio station, DSN (DeLuca Show Network). It continued through August 2013, when he was hired at Mix 94.1.

REPORT: Dan Le Batard On Verge Of Moving Into Cowherd Slot

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 21ST, 2015 –– While no official word from ESPN yet, Dan Le Batard’s is reportedly set to move his radio show from late afternoon to Colin Cowherd’s old slot at 10am-1pm et, say multiple sources. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, who first broke the story, adds that Le Batard and co-host Jon “Stugotz” Weiner will likely move around mid-September

The Herald's Greg Cote blogs: 'Barring an unexpected last-minute snag, the show will air 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on ESPN Radio in the space vacated by departing Colin Cowherd, still with a possibility of adding a local hour from 9 to 10. Currently the show airs 4-7 p.m, with a local-only hour from 3-4. Cote says LeBatard will continue to air locally as well on The Ticket Miami. His local afternoon slot may be filled by Izzy Gutierrez and Ethan Skolnick, although that is not yet official.

Cumulus Renews As Broadcast Partner For U of O Sports

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 21ST, 2015 –– Cumulus Media announces that it has signed a new multi-year agreement with the University of Oregon and IMG, the university’s multimedia rights partner, to be the exclusive radio broadcast partner for University of Oregon Sports in the Eugene/Springfield market. University of Oregon Sports will be broadcast on several Cumulus Eugene stations including: 590 KUGN-AM, KUJZ 95.3 THE SCORE, and 96.1 KZEL.

EXECUTIVE ACTION: Rob Keegan Rises To GSM AT Greater Media's WMGK/Philadelphia; Jessica Aquilar Joins Alpha's San Antonio Cluster As Marketing Director

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 21ST, 2015 –– Greater Media announced that Rob Keegan has been promoted to General Sales Manager of WMGK-FM in Philadelphia. Keegan, who joined the station four and a half years ago, most recently served as the local sales manager. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Beasley Broadcast Group, where he led the non-traditional revenue department for the company. “The culture of Greater Media Philadelphia is second to none and I am excited to further enhance our position in this marketplace,” said Keegan.

In other executive action, Alpha Media San Antonio, TX announced that Jessica Aguilar has joined the cluster as Marketing Director . Jessica will oversee the promotions and marketing efforts of News Talk 550 KTSA and FM 1071, 1250 ESPN San Antonio and 945FM , ESPN Deportes, Top 40 KTFM, Adult Hits 1027 JACK - FM, and Regional Mexican stations KLEY and KSAH. NIELSEN: Small, Medium Markets Bigger Than Ever

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 20TH, 2015 –– Nielsen has released its latest 'State of the Media: Audio Today' Report with a special Focus on Medium and Small Markets which reviewed 215 Nielsen diary markets.

While bigger cities grab most of the headlines, a big and qualified audience uses radio every day in medium and small markets. It reports that more than 86% of consumers (age 12 or older) tune in during the week spending more than 15 hours of their media time with radio, the original mass medium

With regard to age, more than 60% are between the ages of 18 and 54. Radio also reaches across the generations: 86.8% of Boomers (aged 50-74) and a whopping 86.5% of Millennials (12-34) and 89.9% of Gen Xers (35-49) are reached by radio in these markets each week.

[WATCH] The Bert Show's Wake Up Calls To Kids' Goes Viral

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 20TH, 2015 –– The Bert Show's wake up calls to kids has apparently attracted the attention of more that just its national audience. Try The Today Show, Good Morning America, Huffington Post Parenting, Fox and Friends, Inside Edition and The Daily Mail - to name a few - even an Australian TV station.

With kids headed back to school, The Bert Show took it upon themselves to help parents get their children back in the swing of things.
