THE MOUTH, AUGUST 4TH, 2015 –– After a five-year hiatus, DC radio legend Donnie Simpson is coming out of retirement for multi-year radio and television deal with WMMJ MAJIC 102.3 and as the newest talent on the cable network TV One. According to myfoxdc, Simpson’s radio show will be on the air from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. starting on August 17.

Cumulus New York Teams For 5th Annual Bark In The Park

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 4TH, 2015 –– Cumulus Media’s 77 WABC, 95.5 WPLJ, NASH FM 94.7, and the new Radio 103.9 teamed up for the 5th Annual “Bark in the Park” on Saturday at Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The North Shore Animal League America, Bergen County Animal Shelter/Adoption Center, and several other rescue groups were on-site with many dogs up for adoption. The mission of the day was to find a loving home for as many dogs as possible – and it was a great success. Over 30 dogs were adopted on-site! Hubbard Buys 30% Stake In PodcastOne

In 1973 Roach joined rocker WDVE-FM where he eventually moved to mornings and joined with Steve Hansen; thus, becoming the highly popular Jimmy & Steve Show. Tennessee Dad Gets Tattoo For Indy Contest, Then Finds Out He Doesn't Qualify

THE MOUTH, AUGUST 3RD, 2015 –– You have to feel bad for the dad who tried winning One Direction tickets for his daughter, only to find out after getting a large tattoo that out of state entries were accepted.

According to CBS4/Indy, Roger Fraser and his two daughters are from Tennessee, and they entered a WZPL-FM contest to dress Fraser up as a big OD fan so he could win tickets. Slight problem, however, was that the contest rules require that you have to be a permanent resident of Indiana. OUCH!

"My great idea was to get a 1D tattoo and later on, we’re talking and I mentioned to her, ‘I hope this isn’t one of those contests where you have to be a resident of the state to win the contest.’ She pulls the rules up and sure enough, you have to be a permanent resident of Indiana and we live in Nashville, Tennessee.” Despite the loss, he says he’s keeping the tattoo as a funny memory. “I’m keeping it forever. It’s a good memory for me and my daughters. I did it for them.
