Taylor Swift And Former Denver Host David Mueller Face Off In Courtroom THE MOUTH, AUGUST 7TH, 2017 –– The day has finally arrived when one of the world's biggest pop stars, Taylor Swift, goes head to head with former KYGO/Denver morning co-host, David Mueller, who she claims groped her during a meet and greet, just prior to one of her concert at the Pepsi Center (shown) on June 2, 2013. During the photo-op, Swift is adamant that Mueller lifted up her skirt and grabbed her bare buttock. According to The NY Daily News, Swift and her camp never filed a harassment claim with authorities, but did provide KYGO with evidence and her rep, Frank Bell, said the station then made its own decision to fire Mueller two days later. Swift recalls feeling 'violated' after allegedly being groped. Mueller sued first, claiming Swift had falsely accused him of the groping and pressured station management to fire him from his $150,000-per-year job at the station. Swift then countersued for assault and battery. "It was completely intentional, I've never been so sure of anything in my life," she continued. An extremely personal photo from the incident was ordered by a judge to be remained sealed in October, but somehow, a month later it went public on TMZ. Mueller's legal team claimed that the photo only helps his case because it appears his hand was not up the singer's skirt. However, it does appear his arm and hand are both sitting low behind Swift as they pose for the shot - (see photo-op at TMZ HERE). In November, Mueller appeared on the “Mojo in the Morning” and said all that happened was that their “hands touched and our arms crossed.” “That's all I remember,” he said. “(My hand) went behind her, and her hand went behind me.” Jury selection begins today in the Alfred A. Arraj Courthouse SWIFT PHOTO/Alamy - MUELLER PHOTO/Steve Hostetler
